In November 2022 we shot a 22 minute proof-of-concept movie for our Art e Fact feature film.
We pulled it together remotely before arriving in Spain for the location shoot at the L’Estruch arts organisation site where we were invited to do a residency. L’Estruch provided us with technical support, several studios plus accommodation. We hired two local actresses and a cinematographer.
It was lots of fun and a remarkably glitch free experience. This was helped by the fact that we had overestimated the shooting schedule which turned out to be only 25 hours to shoot 20 shooting pages (16 script pages). As a result, we could work short days and even had time to re-shoot two scenes and half a day to record ADR for the entire movie.
